BattleTech · Miniature painting
A small way to give back to this awesome community.

Kindness
Life is rough enough. Let's make it a little better for each other.
This project is built around a simple idea:
If something good is done for you, pass it on in your own way, in your own time.
Kindness done here doesn’t have to stay here, you can pass it on in your own way.
It does not have to come back to me.
It can go to a friend, a family member, your local community,
or someone who simply needs a bit more light.
This is not just about miniatures.
It is about trying to put something good back into the world, one piece at a time.
And if others artists choose to do the same in their own way, I would be delighted.
BattleTech has given me more than I expected,
especially the people I’ve met along the way.
In life, difficult moments will come.
I hope the pieces I create can offer a small boost of joy and strength
through those times.
Stay here.
Get better.
Contribute.
This project is my way of giving back and paying it forward.
Selected projects are done free of charge, but as a contribution to the community.
Process
We all have that one unit we put on a pedestal. Maybe it came from a memorable game. Maybe it is tied to a story you cannot let go of. Maybe it is simply the look of the machine itself. I'd like the opportunity to bring that unit to life. Sell me the unit through its story. For me, it's something like six Chargers taking on a Clan Star. If the story calls for it, I'm open to sculpting or kitbashing to help make it real. I don't pursue commission painting, and I hope what I do, would create better positive memories down the road for everyone. I value the freedom to select and bring to life projects/requests that carry story, meaning, and identity. I am working on other projects as well, so I will aim to take on about 1–2 requests each month.
Tell me about your idea, your preferred unit, and the story or meaning behind it.
Not every request will be accepted. I will review submissions and reach out only for the ones I decide to take on.
If selected, I'll connect with you within 14 days of your submission, through email or Discord to confirm: • miniature choice • paint scheme • details & ideas • delivery method We’ll align on the concept together before moving forward.
Once confirmed, your project will be placed in the queue. Once confirmed, the request will be locked and no further changes will be made. I’ll share: • your position in the queue • an estimated timeframe • your project will be listed in the MechLab section (you can check on the status) No miniature needs to be sent at this stage.
I will reach out again 1 month before your project is approaching production. You will need to provide the miniature in one of two ways: • Option A: ship the miniature to me • Option B: have me purchase it on your behalf, reimbursed at cost and aligned with (Frogrodeo). Work will only begin once the miniature is received or secured.
When the piece is finished, it will be shipped back to you. All shipping costs are covered by you.
I understand you may want to carry that same feel across the rest of your force. I will be happy to share the exact paints and steps so you can recreate it yourself.
This project only works if we respect it.
I know something like this can be abused, and I've chosen to proceed anyway.
There is no system here to fully prevent misuse — only a shared understanding of what this is meant to be.
If you choose to take part, please do so with honesty, respect, and consideration for others. Leave space for people who may value this opportunity just as much as you do.
This runs on the honour system.

BattleTech started as a hobby, but it became something more.
It gave me stories, memorable games, and friendships I didn’t expect to find.
There are quite a number friends I’ve lost to mental health — people I wish were still here,
people I wish I could have had another game and another laugh with.
Losing them changes how you see things.
This project is a continuation of that journey,
my personal way to give back through something I know how to make.
I’m not trying to build a commission studio.
I’m trying to create meaningful pieces for people, one at a time,
in a way that feels honest and worth doing.
